Welcome to District 2 AA! (Area 63, South Dakota)

Welcome to our site!

If you have a desire to stop drinking, you have come to the right place! Please click on the buttons at the top of the page, where you will find  meeting schedules, a listing of local area recovery events/dates, and ways to contact A.A. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us using the link above. If you need help finding a meeting, immediately...call our hotline at 605-343-1091.

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?

We are a fellowship of men and women who share our experience strength and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

  • The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. We are self-supporting   through our own contributions.
  • A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
  • Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

I am responsible…

When anyone, anywhere,
reaches out for help, I want
the hand of A.A. always to be there.
And for that: I am responsible.

What is the purpose of this website?

The purpose of this website is to assist AA members, and groups, in the District 2 area to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous by offering information on local meetings and events. {We update the website weekly, on Saturdays.}

Also, we would like to assist the still suffering alcoholic by providing the means and direction for establishing direct contact with Alcoholics Anonymous.
